Christine Hugo & Mariëtte Boltman

After two decades in the advertising, marketing and design industry, sisters Christine Hugo and Mariette Boltman found motherhood to be the most challenging of creative briefs, with a lot of very diverse questions and not a clue where to start looking for the answers.

After years of grapevine guidance, old wives opinions and bash-your-head-agains–the-wall mistakes, it was very clear that it would take a village to raise a child. If only one knew where to find them.

And so was conceived the idea of a local online hub with helpful information for the child rearing community: WHOCANHELPMYKID.COM. An online directory of child-related products and services.

Local and practical, whocanhelpmykid.com is growing a database of the “village” it takes to raise a child, within our context, that connects the dots between what children (and parents) need and the people who are able to help them – with a number and a name.
